Remembering Our Fathers

Since 1989, each of us at Gulfside, from the nurses and doctors to the chaplains and social workers, has been honored to provide loving care to many wonderful fathers in our community.

Today, we invite you to share with us YOUR story of your father, or other special man in your life, by making a memorial gift to Gulfside Regional Hospice. Your gift helps to ensure that Gulfside is there for every father who needs us.

Together, these stories create a lasting tribute to the men who taught us the meaning of life and so many other lessons along the way. We celebrate their lives and honor their memory here.

My dad lived a long and joyful life. Born in Greece, lived in Switzerland before moving to New York in the 60's then moved to Florida in the 90's. Enjoyed life, momma and his daughter Erika.

I thank God everyday for the close relationship I have had with my Dad, and for the strong family and Christian values that he shared with me through his daily walk. I thank God that I could spend just about every day with my Dad, talking, sharing, remembering the good old days, caring for him. I count that a great blessing. Your ship Dad has come to carry you Home.
